Scholarship Programs at Medinah Christian School
1. School Board Approved Awards:
- Each year the school board of Medinah Christian School receives requests from MCS families through an organization called FACTS Business Solutions for Education. Families enroll through the FACTS website and request financial assistance. FACTS correlates all the family information and recommends, to the school board, if a family should or should not receive financial assistance.
- In 2009-2010 the school board awarded $25,000 in financial assistance to MCS families.
2. Anonymous Gifts:
- Medinah Baptist Church families and Medinah Christian School alumni continue to bless and encourage MCS families with donations and support. God continues to meet the financial needs of our parents through the sacrificial giving of families who know the importance of a Christian education.
- In 2009-2010 church and school families gave $8,000 in financial assistance to MCS families.
3. Work Study Programs:
- In some rare instances MCS families can work around Medinah Baptist Church or Medinah Christian School and earn tuition credit. All work must be approved by the school administrator and documented in writing before a work-study program can ensue.
