Dear Parents:
God has given us the wonderful privilege of rearing our children. It can be an exciting experience to see them grow educationally, physically, socially, and spiritually. This is God's plan for our children.
The purpose of this brochure is to introduce you to Medinah Christian School, a ministry of Medinah Baptist Church. Medinah Christian School provides academic excellence built upon solid truth. Deuteronomy 6:7-9 describes a comprehensive, diligent, and thorough training program for parents to follow.
I am sure you will agree that the critical time to affect the hearts and minds of children comes in the early years. God has several exhortations to parents:
"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
"And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4).
While the responsibility of rearing our children can sometimes be overwhelming, it also brings great rewards. The Apostle John wrote of the rewards he experienced with his disciples. "I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in truth" (III John 4). In like manner, we as parents can have no greater joy than to know that our loving guidance has influenced our children to love and serve God.
At Medinah Christian School, we offer a solid Christ-centered education for students in pre-school through eighth grade in our large, modern facility. You are cordially invited to come visit our school.
